Job Brief:


As a Team Leader, you will manage the Plan Management team that are responsible for the onboarding and offboarding of clients' plans, system updates for plan and management agreement updates, and managing and providing section reports to external parties.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for plans coming on board or leaving the organisation and that section reports are accurate and provided within legislation.

You will supervise a team of seventeen [17], and your ability to lead and motivate people will be critical to your success.


Role Objectives:


  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new plans, ensuring all necessary contracts and documentation are completed and transferred.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Business Development, Strata Branches, Finance, and IT, to provide support and guidance and ensure a smooth and seamless transition for plans coming on board or leaving the organisation.
  • Manage the offboarding process for plans leaving the organisation, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is appropriately managed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team during the onboarding and offboarding of plans, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Support the team to troubleshoot and address any bottlenecks in the onboarding and offboarding processes and implement solutions to streamline and optimise the processes.
  • Ensure plan details and management agreement updates are actioned within SLA and accurately.
  • Manage the Section Reports process ensuring certificates and reports are accurate and provided within legislative timeframes.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure they are motivated, engaged, and performing their best.
  • Hold "team huddles" to bring people together, give critical messages, and ensure the team is clear on its objectives.
  • Have Honest Conversations (1on1s) formally and informally to give and receive feedback, support performance improvement, discuss challenges, and develop career goals.
  • Monitor and drive individual and team performance against our key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Preparing management reports on performance against KPIs.
  • The ongoing motivation of your team to ensure a positive mindset and customerfocused attitude remains throughout.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new employees to your team.
  • Identify and address any people management issues.
  • Contribute to the overall customer experience by promoting awareness of any companywide customer experience initiatives.

Experience & Education:
  • At least one year's previous experience as a team leader or manager in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to analyse situations, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills, timemanagement skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge (or ability to learn) of strata industry regulations, policies, and best practices.
