Summary

We're working with an organisation that provides vital services to the community, highly regarded by many of it's diverse users with a tight knit community.

This role will sit in their corporate office technology team, empowered to protect and enable services to the organisation through technology.

What You'll Do

You will be a hands on technical resource working across broad range of security controls/tools to ensure the safe and continuous operation of technology services to the organisation's businesses.

This includes but is not limited to:

Administration of firewalls and other network security tools
Monitor SIEM log, fine tuning and making improvements where suitable
Investigate minor incidents, escalating major incidents to outsourced response team as required
IDAM administration, supporting providing and deprovisions of access, etc.
Advise business on opportunities to improve security where possible
Educate others on importance and relevance of cyber security

What You'll Have

Hands on technical work experience in cyber security, ideally with a background in network or security engineering
Indepth knowledge of network security principles, standards, protocols, etc.
Education/certification in cyber security such as Comp Tia Security+, Bachelors, Masters, etc.
Keen desire to learn and develop your cyber skillset
Ability to collaborate with a team and take on responsibility for your own tasks/actions.
Clear communicator who engages well with other teams
