Our client


This well-regarded investment house supports the ongoing growth and regeneration of Perth by helping clients work through the complexities of their real estate strategies, projects, and transactions.

Due to growth in the business, there is an opportunity to grow the team with an Associate Director level opportunity.


The opportunity
This role leads work including real estate strategy across single assets and portfolios and supporting investment decisions.

Key areas of responsibility for this role cover Asset Management Responsibilities and Investment Responsibilities including but not limited to:


  • Delivering indepth property advisory with a focus on market analysis, financial analysis, strategic options assessment, and commercial structuring.
  • Assisting with analysis and decisionmaking on a variety of highprofile and marketsensitive property transactions across a range of sectors including urban renewal and infrastructure; living (affordable, retirement and aged, student, builttorent, short stay); and logistics/industrial.
  • Perform extensive due diligence on each transaction, including traveling to the properties, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors, and formulating investment strategies and business plans.
  • Collaborating with specialists across a range of disciplines (including tax, legal, finance, economics, engineering, planning, and urban design) to provide integrated solutions.
  • Prepare and present analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities.
  • Monitor the performance of assets, identify optimisation strategies and provide advice and assist in the sales and leasing process.
  • Taking an active role in the growth and development of the team, including fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in one more of the following areas: strategic real estate advisory, corporate finance, transaction management, project delivery, and/or demonstrated experience advising on commercial principles to support transaction outcomes.

Other skills and attributes that will see you succeed in this role include:

  • Related tertiary qualifications such as Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Legal, or a related discipline.
  • Finance or property experience, ideally in real estate investment, investment banking, or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation movements, reading and comprehending P&L & Balance Sheets
  • Team player, you should be an adept communicator with fantastic negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Entrepreneurial strategic thinker, collaborate and embrace change.
  • Techsavvy with the ability to grasp systems and programs with ease.
  • Ability to build rapport, manage relationships and negotiate.
  • Strong analytical skills and detailoriented.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects at a time.
  • A selfstarter, but with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in the real estate industry.
  • Confident and selfaware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint.
