ABOUT THE ROLE


The General Manager Operations is a senior level manager role responsible for leading the operational, budget and financial performance of services, setting and achieving goals and providing leadership and direction to a diverse workforce across our Community Programs, including DFV, Homelessness, Family Preservation, NDIS Community programs, ADE and more.

The portfolio is typically responsible for a $18 million + budget and programs over a number of regional areas.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Substantial experience in a senior leadership role within an organisation in the Community Services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Government and NDIS, including challenges in regard to notforprofit organisations, community, NDIS and Government relationships.
  • Ability to drive and lead operational performance.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and manage a large team (multifaceted roles and levels) in complex environments.
  • Capacity to develop strategic partnerships and networks with providers and stakeholders external to the organisation.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with managing financial performance.
  • Proficient Decisionmaking and exercise of judgment within a delegation of authority.
  • Proven ability to provide expert, highlevel advice within your portfolio of management.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct regular travel across the entire Community Programs portfolio.

Criteria:


  • Degree or relevant business management qualification.
  • Current unencumbered Driver's Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW) and Blue Card (Qld).
  • NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Evidence of full COVID19 vaccination.
