The Public Sector Commission (PSC) is seeking an innovative and strategic workforce analyst.

The PSC is a small and dynamic central agency dedicated to ensuring the Queensland public sector is the very best it can be.

Data and strategic analytics play a key role in the work of the PSC. The Workforce Analyst opportunity is part of the Workforce Insights team, within Strategic Workforce Futures.

While the Strategic Workforce Futures team designs and leads sector-wide workforce strategies, the Workforce Insights team provides the insights and analytics to support and evaluate the strategies.

In recent years, the Workforce Insights team has been involved in the development and evaluation of:

  • The 10-year human capital outlook
  • The work program of the Special Commissioner, Equity and Diversity
  • Thriving at work, growing a career: Voices of people living with disability
  • Review of the Be healthy, be safe, be well framework
  • Flexible by design framework
We are looking for someone with a passion for conducting exploratory data analysis and research to identify actionable insights.

Someone with an inquiring mind and an understanding of the power of data to change the way we manage people and deliver services to the community.
