About the Role
Vocus are seeking a skilled, engaging and people-centric IT Support Manager to join the team; based in either Sydney, New South Wales or Melbourne, Victoria.
The IT Support Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and maintaining Vocus' Corporate IT systems and services, with a focus on maximum availability and performance to customers.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:- Establishing service level agreements for IT support and implementing programs to achieve objectives.
- Monitoring IT support performance against service level agreements and presenting associated performance reports to Senior Management.
- Managing and coordinating IT support staff, including workload management, task allocation and professional development.
- Establishing quality systems, policies and procedures to ensure seamless IT support is provided to all users.
- Ensuring seamless communication/escalation procedures are establishedand maintained between Helpdesk, Desktop Supportand Infrastructure employees.
- Ensuring the necessary IT training and education services are providedto end users.
- Working in conjunction with project managers and other technical teams to coordinate the continual upgrading of IT systems
About You
- Strong experience in managing corporate IT Support at all levels.
- Strong understanding of technical issue resolution workflow and systems.
- Excellent people management & leadership skills. Able to manage multiple direct reports and prioritise work
- Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to present to executive stakeholders in an engaging manner.
- Absolute focus on service to users.
