All of the hotel's 368 guest rooms - including ten Club Suites, eight Westin Suites, five Executive Suites and one Presidential Suite.
Your role
Reporting to the Cluster Director of Human Resources, you will work alongside an Assistant HR Manager and have exposure to
all aspects of the HR function and Associate Lifecycle.
This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate individual to make a difference as the hotel transforms and expands.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, this role has the power to own and influence ways of working through continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for?
You are an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to kick start your HR career.
You are a multi-tasker and are able to work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support our team.
You communicate well with all stakeholders, anticipate and resolve issues, and update the team on your various projectsSpecifically, this will include:
- Support the Assistant HR Manager with the endtoend recruitment process.
- Onboarding and offboarding of associates
- Maintain the HR systems, including Talent Management and the internal Talent database.
- Conduct valued onboarding inductions to welcome new associates and make their first day special
- Assist in developing the hotel culture through recognition programs, internal events and Marriott associate initiatives
- Champion Marriott's Take Care philosophy across the hotel.
- Assist the Cluster Director of HR in ensuring the hotel implements its annual HR Business Plan and Strategy

- You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- You have high attention to detail, and your problemsolving skills are impeccable
- Meticulous attention to detail with administrative tasks
