    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    As an Electrical Project Engineer in our NSW Service team, you'll work on projects that change the way the industry operates, where making a big difference is part of the everyday. By way of HV electrical design, estimation and project management, your knowledge and industry expertise will allow our engineering capability to thrive in the competitive and challenging North Queensland mining, utilities and industrial markets.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    You will be involved in multiple projects providing electrical engineering support and project coordination across a wide range of industries, whilst being a key customer interface.

    You will create detailed design and documentation of projects for the manufacture or overhaul of substations, transformers, switchgear and circuit breakers. Your work is critical to the preparation of budgets and tenders, liaising with customers, as well as assisting with pre-engineering, sales follow up and participating in progress reviews. You will also be at the forefront of our products by conducting a range of specialist workshop and onsite functions including the delivery of site electrical engineering services, product training and client support.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:

    • Advanced Diploma or Degree level qualifications in Electrical Engineering
    • Experience in HV switchgear, control systems, substations and power transmission/distribution networks
    • Design experience in flameproof and hazardous area equipment (desirable)
    • The ability to balance engineering design, project management and contractual elements for multiple projects
    • Demonstrated skills in control systems/automation programming and integration – advantageous
