Description
Design, load and fire of quarry and civil blast- Conduct Post blast reporting including blast monitoring
- Handle Explosive deliveries and assist magazine keeper with maintenance of magazine and stocktakes
- Qld Shotfirers Licence (mandatory)
- Qld Explosives Security Clearance (mandatory)
- Qld Construction Induction (White card)
- Sound knowledge of Basic Computer operations including MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Blast design programs (Shotplus experience is desirable, but not essential)
- Knowledge of MMU operation, Heavy Rigid licence is desirable but not required
- Experience with blasting in a quarry
- Experience blast in a Civil/Built up area not required but would be of advantage
