Principal Platform & Modeling Specialist - Operational Excellence Group (OEG)

Responsibilities:


As a primary contributor to Anaplan's Operational Excellence Group (OEG), your core responsibility is to build Anaplan skills in the ecosystem, at scale.

Day to day interactions will include a mix of collaborating with product development, designing standards and building enablement content as well as participating in customer resolution activities.


  • Collaborate with product development on new product introductions to advise on capabilities, establish best practices, and develop enablement material
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on prioritization of platform enhancements
  • Build competence by developing methodologies, blogs, webinars, training, and enablement collateral
  • Ability to adapt to new situations, evaluate platform landscape, and recommend a path to remediation
  • Lead the client and partners on the best way to translate their business process into Anaplan using standard methodologies and ensuring we have a happy customer
  • Take a complex issue and break it down into simple, manageable steps or achievements
  • Enablement of the broader talent ecosystem, both internal and external to Anaplan
  • Ability to review models/business processes and make recommendations based on your expertise

Requirements:


  • 10+ years of experience working in customer success, consulting, professional services, or product management
  • 5+ years of recent Anaplan model building experience; Experience with EPM, SPM, SCM products is a strong plus
  • Certified Master Anaplanner or on a path to achieve is preferred
  • Strong understanding of sophisticated planning functions and ability to advise on platform capabilities to support business outcomes
  • Strong client facing skills and a successful track record of engagement management
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Driven, motivated, selfstarter
  • Deep understanding of the Anaplan Architecture
  • Strong understanding of complex business planning processes and capabilities to advise on modeling best practices that drive improved business outcomes
