Position Overview


As an Accounts Payable Officer for a global property investment company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of business.

You will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting with various accounting tasks.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for the accounts payable (AP) functions of logistics business unit in Australia.

  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Cash flow management.
  • Maintain high volume mailbox queries.
  • Management of all aspects of the AP function across multiple entities, ensuring invoices, approvals and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Meet deadlines for payment of creditors.
  • Handle internal and supplier queries.
  • Assist with preparation of weekly reporting and month end.
  • Daily processing and reviewing of incoming invoices from vendors.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and reconciling financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients.

The Person

  • Accountancy degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in property accounting / AP.
  • Skilled in operating MRI, a property management accounting software and adept with SAP.
  • Skilled in handling a large volume of invoices, including processing and creating invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-Look Up / Pivot Tables)
