ABOUT THE ROLE


Due to recently acquired additional work, we're seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Telecommunications team based in our North Ryde, NSW office.


You will be responsible for:
The coordination and communication of the transportation of materials between supply chain, project managers and customers

Participating in weekly forecast reviews with the project team to ensure material is available to complete upcoming work

Processing material requisition requests in line with project requirements

Monitoring excess stock held by subcontractors and coordinating its return

Liaising with Downer's Inventory team and warehouse staff to ensure all stock is made available as per business requirements and in line with Service Agreements


ABOUT YOU
Strong experience in customer service & data entry, with a fast paced environment


Industry:
ideally coming from a background in Operations, Telco & / logistics (however not essential)


Software:
Office suite (Excel: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills: E.g. pivot tables), JDE (beneficial)

Experience coordinating activities between project and supply chain teams

Ability to develop effective and efficient relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors: strong personality and communication skills

Demonstrated experience with stock management, transportation planning or sales operations, within a project-based environment & preferably telecommunications industry

Qualification in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management highly regarded, however not essential
