Description

Our client offers a full range of port agency, marine and survey services, delivered safely and with a consistent commitment to exceptional service, and transparency in over 60 countries across the world.

We are looking for a talented Customer Service Representative, based in their Sydney Office, Ideally from the shipping line.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the contact point for new customers and be their advocate internally
  • Ensure smooth execution of the endtoend shipment lifecycle, engaging both the customer and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Be the owner of all customer issues and engage relevant stakeholders as required to facilitate timely and effective solutions.
  • Manage / improve day to day process interaction with customers
  • Be fully responsible for customers.
  • Commercial intelligence: engage customers in discussions about new business opportunities and competitor/market intelligence.
  • In general, actively seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities both in relation to customers and internal / external stakeholders.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Freight forwarding/Shipping.
  • Import Export knowledge documentation, Bill of lading,issue invoice.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Teams and Excel)
  • Customer focused, with a strong ownership mindset.
