Being a vertical retailer, our Sydney headquarters is home to design, production, supply chain, merchandise and eCommerce teams amongst other traditional corporate functions.

The eCommerce team is a significant cog in the M.J. Bale machine, it is a store in its own right, with an expert team.

This expert team has an opening for a Marketing Specialist - eCommerce Content Manager to manage the content on our website.


Reporting to the Head of eCommerce this role is primarily responsible for driving and executing the content strategy for the online business.

In addition to this, they are responsible for ensuring the quality and execution of all online content is of a premium quality, represents M.J.

Bale's key values and is on brand.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the overall quality and standard of M.J. Bale's ecommerce images including ghost mannequin and talent images and video by working with the photographic studio to ensure all images meet the style standards and brand guidelines as agreed by the Creative Director and CEO
  • Proofing all images to ensure they meet standards prior to upload
  • Oversee the shoot process ensuring all products required to be shot are sourced, prepped and sent to the photographic studio and all shoot lists are prepared
  • Working closely with Head of Digital and Ecommerce on content strategy for online personalisation
  • Responsible for determining and executing personalised customer journeys based on location, source of journey (eg edm, social organic post, paid social), look alike audiences and category shoppers
  • Responsible for the overall site merchandise and ensuring personalised customer journeys are executed

You will have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in eCommerce and digital environment, fashion retail experience, have a commercial acumen and mindset with a passion for trade, data, and delivering results


Based in Alexandria, this role offers a competitive salary ($80,000 - $90,000 plus super) and exceptional benefits including a fantastic workplace culture.
