Lethbridge is conveniently located 30 mins from Geelong, 40 mins from the Surf Coast, 40 mins from Ballarat and just over an hour from Melbourne.

We are looking for an experienced Vineyard Manager to join our team.

This is a 'hands on' role working across several sites, total area of vines owned, leased or managed is approximately 17 hectares.

You will report to the business owners and be responsible for managing all vineyard activities, including spraying, mowing, midrow management, composting, mulching, pruning, shoot thinning, vine training, harvest activities as well as planning and reporting, and liaising with lessors and growers.


You will have at least 2-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably with some interest and knowledge of sustainable winegrowing and organic /biodynamic vineyard practices.

Job Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Viticulture and/or at least 35 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to adhere to OHS guidelines and be a champion for working safely at all times
  • A practical person, with knowledge and experience in operating farm machinery as well as the ability to undertake basic machinery repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written. Competent computer skills, such as Microsoft office and willingness to engage with viticulture management software such as Vinsight.
  • Possess a good level of health and fitness and enjoy outdoor work.
  • Ability to work independently and motivate others.
  • Possess an Australian drivers licence and forklift licence. Hold or be prepared to obtain a heavy vehicle license.
