The Team


Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success.

The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.


The Role


An exciting opportunity exists for either an experienced Business Development Coordinator or Consultant to join the Financial Services Industry team, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role you will have the opportunity to help to drive client and market growth and to build our relationships with strategic and ASX 100 clients.

As part of the broader Clients and Market Growth industry team, you will work collaboratively both with your immediate financial services team, wider Client Market Growth colleagues and with partners across the firm.

This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid working arrangements available.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support revenue generation and growth of a number of key client accounts, including supporting the management of client service team plans and meetings
  • Support development of MinterEllison client development strategies including assistance with proposals, capability statements and pursuit management
  • Support the development of FS industry's high end revenue, go to market opportunities.
  • Support the FS industry's client listening plan
  • Collaborate with crossindustry and cross line of business to support development of integrated solutions to market and support campaigns which are aligned to industry strategy.
We welcome experienced Business Development Professionals or ambitious new graduates to apply.

  • Tertiary qualified in Marketing, Commerce, Law or other Business discipline
  • Polished verbal communication and business writing skills
  • Strong Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a client service focus
  • Proactive team player with the ability to adapt in a fast paced environments
  • Ability to calmly manage competing tasks with time pressures and grasp complex concepts quickly
  • Solution oriented mindset with strong prioritisation skills
