We're excited to announce a rare opportunity for a talented and driven marketing professional to join our commercial team as Marketing Executive to deliver best-in-class marketing strategies for the Hotels' restaurants, bars and catering business.


The Marketing Executive will be responsible for the B2C and B2C marketing strategies for our cluster of restaurants, catering and celebrations, managing the day-to-day execution of the strategies across digital channels to successfully achieve revenue goals and establish strong brand awareness and position in market.


A passionate, hands-on professional, you will boast experience in digital and traditional marketing, brand partnerships and collaborations, online and social media content creation and possess strong communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement the marketing strategy for all Restaurant and Bars at Kimpton Margot Sydney in line with the Marketing Manager to deliver the overarching marketing plan and drive significant revenue and profit growth.
  • In partnership with the Director of Restaurants & Bars, identify key need periods and design promotions, events and/or experiences for each outlet to fill identified gaps.
  • Create best in market and engaging content (image, video, written & artwork) that showcases the outlets, Chef's and cuisine.
  • Integrating content into the overarching social media plan managed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Pioneer a strong digital footprint for each outlet, positioning on the right platform, with the right story for the right customer.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager's SEO/SEM strategies with rich insight, assets and clear timely briefs.
  • Facilitate the Restaurant and Bars EDM strategy, building a powerful, growing community of diners who become authentic loyal diners, through compelling content, offers and experiences.
  • Champion and foster strong partnerships with leading Food and Beverage brands, influencers and bloggers, to create innovative experiences and stories for each outlet.
  • As part of the marketing plan, manage the execution of outlet advertising campaigns across traditional, digital and social channels.
  • Design and execute events and activations that promote the restaurant or catering experiences to key audiences, with a focus on the Rooftop terrace.
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Restaurants and Bars and Marketing Manager to devise and implement a strategic food and beverage marketing plan for each F&B outlet.
  • Work closely with third party agencies as required, including the completion of effective briefs for creative agencies, at all times ensuring brand messages are respected.
  • Implement best practice tagging, tracking and analytics protocols across all digital and social channels. Report and analyse performance and ensure programs and campaigns generate maximum revenue and profit
People

  • Act as the champion for the Director of Restaurants & Bars, Chefs and R&B teams, providing invaluable partnership support and resource. Proactively inform and educate Restaurant & Bars team members on all upandcoming marketing campaigns while also being their gotoperson for anything marketing related.
  • Champion the Restaurant & Bar departments within the marketing team, wider Sales, Marketing and Revenue team and for the frontline team. Informing and empowering, engendering a sense of excitement and unity for the key Restaurant & Bar experiences and campaigns.
  • Pioneer powerful relationships with key Food and Beverage partners, brands and influencers.
Guest Experience

  • Manage, collaborate and coordinate with agencies and third parties as appropriate, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Review guest feedback and respond on social channels in line with brand tone of voice.
  • Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with all relevant external / internal entities. Service these relationships by acting as a liaison between these entities and the Hotel.
  • Protect and promote brand image and reputation online and use the brand proposition to differentiate, to promote awareness and improve relationships which will drive business.
  • Act as the custodian of the customer experience across the distribution channels ensuring Restaurant & Bar value communication is consistent and effective throughout each channel for all customer types.
Responsible Business

  • Exemplary storytelling skills, copy writing and editing experience for B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Raise the awareness and reputation of your hotel and the brand locally.
  • Identify improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with other departments.
  • Adhoc duties unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of OHS&W policies and procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines.
