Your new role


This role reports to the Manager, Vendor Relationship and is a key member of AustralianSuper's Data Services team, responsible for performing administration activities related to vendors such as purchase order creation, invoice validation & receipting and ensuring vendor costs are managed within budget, supporting market data workflow activities, supporting vendor meeting & enablement activities and supporting and/or performing continuous improvement opportunities through leveraging existing Fund wide tools and with our third parties.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform payment administration lifecycle activities, in line with the procure to pay (P2P) standard.
  • Perform validation and receipt of invoices against purchase orders for third parties.
  • Support new and renewing market data processes with stakeholders and transactional & tactical third parties.
  • Support the annual budget process to prepare the investment related vendor annual budget cycle.
  • Input and maintain vendor market data information in FITS (financial inventory tracking system)
  • Work closely with finance partners to support financial analysis on third party vendor budgets /costs.
  • Perform vendor enablement activities, including market data access enablement for users, licensing queries, scheduling vendor meetings.
  • Perform contract execution activities.
  • Support and/or perform continuous improvement activities for MDVM, including streamlining or implementing workflow tools to reduce manual processes or leverage existing Fund wide tools to support vendor management activities.
**What you'll need

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • 4+ years' experience working at a Superannuation Fund, Fund Manager, or Custodian
  • Ability to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity, as and when necessary.
  • Developing analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of/experience with the Superannuation Industry and the regulatory environment in which it operates
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Collaboration (both internal & external) within and across teams in business outcomes is the critical aspect of this role.
