About the role

The Security SME

Workday

provides high level support and advice to RMIT on Information Security and security management programs.

The Security SME

Workday

collaborates in the development, implementation and maintenance of Information Security solutions aligned to the Information Security management program. This includes defining key security indicators, processes and standards.

The Security Compliance Lead supports RMIT global to identify, measure, and report on the state of Information Security based on information assets.

The Security SME

Workday

has extensive Cybersecurity know-how and understanding of current threat landscape challenges and will be required to support in the security governance oversight across all Applications such as Workday and ADP along with Business as Usual (BAU) functions and Projects / Program of Works.

The Security SME

Workday

is also expected to exercise innovation, initiative and judgement to contribute to continuous improvements initiatives across technical elements of Information Security operational processes.

Please note:
This role is internally known as Security Compliance Lead

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

Application support knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as CSL and GDPR
Deep understanding of ERP / Cloud based security modules (job role, data roles, security profiles)
Workday security knowledge a plus
Demonstrated experience with medium to large scale Information Security systems and processes
Contemporary understanding of IS Industry Standards; IS technologies (eg, Identity Management; Threat Intelligence; Threat Management; Cloud Security; End-Point Device Protection; Malware Control Management)
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
Exceptional teamwork and a demonstrated capacity to work collegiately and collaboratively with others
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups.
