About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking kitchen hand to join our team.

As a kitchen hand, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, assisting in food preparation and ensuring that all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes
Assisting in food preparation
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counter tops, and cleaning spills
Storing food and ingredients in the correct place
Helping the chefs in various task.
Any other duties as required

Requirements:

Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Willingness to learn and take direction from the head chef
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

This position offers 15-20 hours per week and would be perfect for an individual studying or recently completed study in commercial cookery, or someone wanting to develop on currently skill set.
