About the role
This is a
Casual feed technician position.

Based at our head office on the picturesque Hobart waterfront, you will play a key role in remotely feeding salmon across all our marine sites to ensure the growth of high quality, healthy and sustainable salmon.

You will be able to troubleshoot, monitor and interpret data while collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Working with cutting edge technology in our stateoftheart facility, you will:
  • Maximise feed opportunity daily to ensure optimal salmon growth and world's best practice feed conversion;
  • Contribute to the evolving positive feed culture to ensure increased fish performance;
  • Work with current/future technology to drive the evolution of the Feed Centre;
  • Have a demonstrated flair for data interpretation;
  • Develop strong, collaborative internal/external relationships with key stakeholders; and
  • Maintain strong relationships with our farms and infrastructure support teams to ensure fluid communication.

About You

  • Ability and passion to become a feeding specialist and the best in the field;
  • A strong interest in data interpretation in various formats;
  • Competent IT skills;
  • Amazing attention to detail and highly selfmotivated;
  • Ability and confidence to concisely communicate with key stakeholders;
  • A Team Player and solutions finder;
  • Ability to utilise new and existing technology for making quick decisions and troubleshoot; and
  • Ability to work a 2/2/3 roster.
