Formed in 2015, ATOM was created between BP - one of the largest oil & gas companies in the world - and UGL - a leading provider of end-to-end outsourced engineering, asset management, and maintenance services in Australia.
ATOM maintains and operates 20 bulk fuel terminals across Australia, specialising in managing all aspects of terminal activities for our customers ranging from the storage and handling of bulk liquid fuels to maintenance and engineering services.

About the Role
Our Terminal Operator (Rail) position supports our Kewdale terminal by handling its rail requirements, including scheduling rail cart fleets, shunting rail carts using on-site vehicles, refueling rail carts and handling all the associated administration to ensure our clients supply-line is optimal.
This position will also get the opportunity for exposure to the Kewdale terminal's tank farm operations by providing assistance there too, when not busy with being the custodian of the rail function.
About You
The main thing we're looking for is a flexible go-getter with a team-playing attitude and a keen willingness to learn new skills.

No exposure to rail or trains before?

ATOM provides all the necessary training and we want to hear from eager people who have great time management, solid communication and organisational skills, and an eye for continuous improvement.
If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments (oil & gas, mining, etc.) this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority.
If you haven't worked in these industries that's no problem as we provide all necessary training and value diversity of experience.
