Location:
Home or Office-Based role (or Hybrid)

  • Office locations at St Marys NSW or Lavington NSW
  • Flexible location (Australia) option for work from a home office
  • Supporting sales for Asia market (communicating with customers, gaining relevant collection/shipping paperwork)
  • Support Sales initiatives as directed by Sales Director
  • Assist with Retardant sales/quotes for AU/NZ
  • Additional sales support to AUS sales team (potentially existing contracts focused)

Description:
Customer Service / Sales Support

  • Supporting sales for Asia market (communicating with customers, gaining relevant collection/shipping paperwork)
  • Support Sales initiatives as directed by Sales Director
  • Assist with Retardant sales/quotes for AU/NZ
  • Additional sales support to AUS sales team (potentially existing contracts focused)
  • Import/Export controller for Stock needs from USA/Asia
  • Administrative back up/cover

Responsibilities:


Asia Support

  • Acknowledge Customer orders, issue OA/Proforma Invoice, coordinate Payment status
  • Liaison between Client and Spain/USA Customer Service for Freight/Shipping arrangements
  • Coordinate issuing of Documents for Customer orders
  • Issue low level Quotes to Customers and Quote follow up as directed by Sales Director
  • Check pricing with Spain/USA for Quotes/Projects
  • Collate and manage Customer Database / Contact list
  • Handle general enquiries whilst Sales Director is travelling or on leave
  • Assist with Market Research as directed by Sales Director

AU support

  • Issue Quotes on behalf of Sales Team as direct by Sales Managers/Director
  • Assist with Freight quotes for Sales Team
  • Convert Quotes to Sales Order (to assist Admin if required)
  • Process Lavington Orders (to assist Admin if required)
  • Handle general enquiries/direct to relevant team member whilst Sales Manager on leave

Retardant Support

  • Assist with quoting of Retardant / Flash 21 to End Users
  • Assist Sales Director with development of Ground Applied Retardant market

Ad hoc

  • Assist with Tender preparation
  • Assist with Contract pricing reviews
  • Data management / Document control on SharePoint
  • Assist with Price List preparation

Essential experience:


  • Internal Sales / Customer Service experience
  • Work well within Team
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft suite skills, CRM / NetSuite experience preferred

Desirable experience:


  • Experience in Fire Safety or Firefighting markets / industries
  • Experience with international Sales / Customer service
  • Desire to progress to External Sales role
  • Asian language understanding
