About the role
Reporting to the Environment & Sustainability Manager, this role will ideally be based out of our Toowoomba office.

With guidance from the Environment and Sustainability team you will work closely with GrainCorp Ports, Regional Storage, Processing, Feeds and Auscol sites across Australia and New Zealand.

This role will see you assisting in sustainability initiatives and the development and implementation of improved environmental systems and procedures.


Day to day responsibilities of the role are:

  • Supporting the compilation and analysis of sustainability data pertaining to water, waste, electricity, gas and emissions
  • Assisting with environmental compliance document reviews and updates
  • Environmental awareness engagement (toolbox talks, environment promotional activities, etc.)
  • Assisting with environmental assurance audits
  • Contributing to environmental risk profile assessments

About your experience

  • Understanding of environmental management systems
  • Experience with data interpretation, analysis and reporting
  • Excellent English language skills with proven interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Manage time effectively to achieve set outcomes and work objectives
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products
  • Ability to undertake interstate travel and site visits to GrainCorp sites as required (approx. several days per month)
