Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 User Experience Designer on an Initial 12 month contract with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.


Position Overview
A User Experience Designer with experience and knowledge of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and associated projects will be required to undertake work on PBS projects

The User Experience Designer will be part of a dynamic PBS Projects team where knowledge can be shared between the team members, resulting in upskilling, identification of opportunities and areas of improvement.

The User Experience Designer will play a key role in the Pharmaceutical Benefits Branch by assisting to bring current PBS Projects to completion and continue to deliver significant projects and continuous improvements.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Key duties also include but are not limited to:

  • provide leadership and support for User Experience (UX) Design
- manage design requirements including design brainstorm, concept presentation, weekly work in progress meetings, and team meetings

  • Liaise with the key stakeholders and suppliers to deliver user experience design solutions that meet the design brief and ensure agreed deadlines are met, in full and on time
  • Ensure all user experience designs are prepared to a very high standard and are technically correct

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Applicants must have Baseline Clearance, or the ability to obtain.
