The Opportunity


The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive-level administrative support and office management services to the Dean of Education including diary/calendar management, arranging meetings, producing documents and facilitating communications and workflow.

The position is responsible for facilitating effective communication flow between the Dean, staff and internal and external stakeholders and arranges and supports meetings, travel, preparation of documents and other administrative duties.


As a trusted support to the Dean and Faculty General Manager, you will assess, research and make decisions on a range of administration matters.

The role liaises regularly with stakeholders within and outside of the University often requiring a high degree of diplomacy, discretion and time sensitivity.


The Executive Assistant operates with excellence in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and executive support to clients, staff and other stakeholders.

The position contributes to and implements continuous improvement activities to ensure best business practices within the Faculty.


About You


As an experienced and confident Executive Assistant with experience supporting senior leaders, you will know how to always be on the front foot, able to anticipate every move in what will be a fast paced, changing environment.

Your ability to operate independently, resourcefully and with confidence and competence will be essential for the success of this role.

Highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities, you will demonstrate sound judgement, resilience, critical thinking and initiative.

Your savvy IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite along with exceptional writing skills will be highly regarded.
