Description

We are currently seeking a passionate, professional and experienced Lead Educator for our Flourish Early Learning Centre, who will plan, implement, and evaluate quality programs for children ages between three and five.

The successful applicant must have strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for early learning.


This part-time position is 25 hours per week worked over Monday to Friday (12:30pm-5:30pm) and will be required to commence in 2023.


Description
We are looking for a reliable individual, with prior experience to:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the daily routines and programs for children ages 3-5;
  • Ensure the service attains and maintains National Quality Standards and accreditation;
  • Supervise and provide leadership to educators;
  • Ensure that accurate and complete records of each child's enrolment, attendance, illness, accident reports, observations, and any other records as required by the authorities are kept and maintained;
  • Manage the daily functions of the service; and
  • Monitor the implementation and outcomes of the service's policies and recommend changes as required, while keeping families informed of any policy changes.

Applicants Must

  • Be a practising Christian who is active in their own church and wholeheartedly subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification approved by licensing authorities, or enrolled and actively studying an approved qualification;
  • Have confidence to build positive and lasting relationships with children and families;
  • Have phenomenal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Have a friendly and energetic demeanour;
  • Have or be willing to obtain a 'Working with Children Blue Card' prior to commencement; and
  • Have a current first aid certificate with CPR or willing to obtain it.
