ARCADO PTY LTD is looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsperson who fits the following profile:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the production of drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Preparing drawings, charts and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques
• Creating accurate concept designs based on client's requirements while complying with all relevant covenants and council regulations.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their concept designs and make alterations as instructed while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
• Interpreting design briefs and concepts and understanding the technical aspects of documentation.
• Coordinating project in all stages from design development through to construction administration
• Producing drawings that are clear and concise with only the truly relevant detail for the purpose of installation
• Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
• Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions, costs and estimating time scales as needed.

Relevant Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Formal qualification in relevant discipline
• Work experience in construction industry
• Strong experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino.
• Teamwork and coordination skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems

Salary:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
