We are delighted to bring to market an exciting category manager role with a leading ASK listed business. Working in a collaborative team environment, this role will work with some of our clients' major accounts. The procurement function is mature and led by an accomplished GM.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full end to end category process across Indirect spend (IT & HR Contracts, travel) and facilities management.
Engage with key internal stakeholders across the business aligning the procurement plan with key long and shortterm business objectives.
Present timely and accurate supplier data to support all sourcing activity.
Negotiate all contracts including specific terms and conditions.
Seek out process improvements to improve tender activity and supplier onboarding.
Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in an endtoend role.
The ability to collate and understand complex date and make informed commercial decisions in a fastmoving environment.
Effective collaboration, engagement, and negotiation skills
Advanced data manipulation skills with a minimum of advanced Excel ability ideally with some experience of utilising Tableau.
Good team mentality in helping others perform the tasks when required.

This role is based in the SE suburbs in a modern Head office with ample onsite parking. It is a hybrid role with three days based in the office. It reports to the category lead, an experienced senior manager. The role will have autonomy to make decisions and drive innovation.
