Your responsibilities...

  • Obtain specifications from architecture and design firms, along with design and construct builders and ensure that these specifications are kept through to the contractor and installation phase
  • Maintain and form strong relationships with architects, interior designers and specifiers, so that the first person they think of is you and your product to specify
  • Consult and understand client briefs. Provide creative and technical support to your customer base
  • Effective use of CRM and communication skills to manage the specification process so that your product is not swapped or changed in the tendering process
  • Making sure your client base has up to date samples, brochures and product information
  • Monthly reporting and project tracking
  • Representation at industry functions

You are...

  • An experienced architectural specification sales executive looking to work for a top tier supplier
  • Someone who enjoys representing a premium product and can sell the benefits of well positioned product on features, benefits, aesthetics
  • Proven success in specification sales sales to architects and designers, builders and developers
  • Like chasing and winning business and you are highly motivated
  • Highly organised and love systems to manage your follow up and closing sales you are able to keep lots of balls in the air at once
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Qualifications in interior design, project management or building would be highly regarded
  • Positive, polite, friendly, diligent and your enthusiasm is infectious
