  • Supports the Corporate Affairs and Marketing division with proactively managing risks
    The Role
  • The Consultant Business Resilience and Risk supports the CAM division with proactively managing risks, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; design, test and perform controls; adhering to processes and procedures; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the enterprisewide risk and compliance management framework is embedded within CAM
  • Ensure that CAM's people, processes and technology and are aligned and comply with IFL risk management framework, risk appetite statement, standards, procedures
  • Assist with driving a risk culture though engaging / educating the CAM division
  • Provide support to the CAM division with identifying, analysing, evaluating and mitigating risks


  • Controls testing

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate risk management controls, executing annual control testing and reviewing business processes
  • Monitor and maintain registers that are relevant to CAM, such as, but not limited to: Risk Register, Control Register, Incident & Breaches Register and Business Impact Analysis Register
  • Facilitate and conduct Call Tree Tests for emergency situations, and business continuity exercises (including making sure any areas of improvements are followed up and implemented).
  • Reviewing client facing communications from Marketing to ensure they are not deceptive or misleading (current average is 4 requests/week)
  • Support the division with the management of incidents and breaches
  • Attend the monthly 1st and 2nd line risk & compliance forum

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Analytics, Risk, Project Management, Business, or a relevant field
  • 3 years + Experience within financial services or similar client servicebased organisation, specifically within risk, compliance or assurance functions
  • Agile ways of working
  • JIRA / Confluence knowledge
  • Ability to plan & prioritise work to focus on key priorities that deliver robust business outcomes
  • Exposure to regulatory requirements
