Our client, Samsung Electronics Australia, is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry.

With expansion to their business, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst / Demand Planner to join their operations.


About the role:

  • Internally liaise with Sales, Category, Commercial Operations, Order Management, Logistics and HQ Support teams and externally liaise with our Customers to optimize Store & DC replenishment across Smartphone, Tablet and APS/Wearable product categories.
  • Use CPFR process & replenishment strategies, maintain the key account(s) target in stock rates, weeks of supply and purchase order management, whilst supporting business sales targets.
  • Identifies, creates & develops business inventory opportunities through the use of CPFR & other decision support tools.
  • Review, evaluate and analyse the impact of such changes as new products/prices and promotions, as well as product lifecycle management in the development of the sales planning forecast.
  • Lead account level forecast as well as a validation role on consensus planning.
  • Analyse the impact of planned promotions & active competitor and market monitoring on planning forecasts using available data to achieve sellout forecast accuracy targets
  • Ensure inventory optimization drives all business decisions with a focus on weeks of stock management & inventory aging.

About you:

  • Ideally 5 years of demand forecasting and planning / SCM operation / Customer facing experience / Multidimensional analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel (Macros)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Korean speaking beneficial
  • Expereince working with SAP (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Self motivated and able to prioritise and work well in a team
