We have a position in our team for a Store Construction & Asset Manager.

The primary purpose of the role is to
cover a 6-month Maternity Leave from 21 May 23 assisting the Property team prepare and execute the asset management plan and strategy of a portfolio of 300 leasehold veterinary clinics, together with project management.


Key elements of the role include:

  • Develop and maintain asset management plans and reporting
  • Work closely with the Director of Property and other senior leaders on property strategy, refurbishments and relocations
  • Project Manage CAPEX fitouts
  • Work in partnership with Finance to optimise commercial outcomes and manage Continuity of Business risk, Make Good & lease surrender costs, as applicable.
  • Source new sites and manage relocations, as well as manage any development of new sites, including scope of landlord works and landlord incentives for clinic fitouts.
  • Preparation of annual capex forecast
Our new team member will be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the commercial property industry, with exposure to either industrial property management, or industrial development and construction.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Construction or similar is desirable.
  • Capable of identifying opportunities to contribute, innovate and add value, and a proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail, commercial acumen and financial aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills and capable of developing relationships and building rapport with a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience.
