Essential Job Functions

  • Plans tasks, assigns resources to tasks, monitors and tracks progress and delivers projects according to prescribed standards within the specified schedule and budget (Management).
  • Oversees assigned personnel for projects. Assigns work and provides direction with regard to timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project. (Management).
  • Prepares detailed statements of work (SOW) for medium size project engagements and participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to appropriate project management policies and procedures (Management).
  • Uses Catalyst phases, activities and tasks as a basis for developing estimates and team plans (Methodology).
  • Reviews highlevel and detailed business process designs to the elementary business process (EBP) level and to the derived logical process (DLP) level for scope adherence (Business).
  • Maintains current knowledge of technical trends and design options; provides input to technical project direction and assesses impact of choices on plans and schedules (Technical).
  • Interacts with confidence and ease when interacting with middle
- and senior-level managers (client and company); uses complex strategies like indirect influence to build consensus and support (Relationship Management).

  • Assists sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals (Leverage).
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel (Leadership).
  • Communicates in formal presentation settings including proposal orals, client workshops and regional internal events; develops proposal sections, methodology work products and formal written deliverables covering area(s) of expertise (Communication).

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Six or more years of consulting experience managing small to mediumsized projects of low to medium complexity
  • One to two years of additional relevant experience in one or more technical, business or industry specialty areas
  • Experience working with company, client, and/or equivalent vendormandated methodology
  • Experience working with client's vision, business objectives and critical success factors
  • Experience working with scope control techniques and changeinscope authorization process

Other Qualifications

  • Skilled in estimating and common project management desktop tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Ability to devise creative solutions to address problems and issues
  • Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business or technical problems
  • Willingness to travel
