The Opportunity

An exciting entry level opportunity has become available for an Engineering Bill of Materials Coordinator to join our Engineering team, to kick start their career.

The Engineering department at PACCAR Australia is the centre of design for all Kenworth trucks built in Australia. A manufacturing success story, this department has been designing trucks for more than 50 years.

Responsibilities

Coordinate data input into ERP software system
Liaising with various business units (Sales, Design, Materials, Production) to ensure customers requirements are accurate as per dealer order
Reviewing customer truck orders and ensuring engineering BOMs meet the customized requirements
Processing Customer option requests
Reviewing engineering chassis layouts and design drawings
Analyse changes and errors to determine cause and recommend actions for improvement

Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement projects
Familiar with CAD software (CREO) and interpreting engineering drawings
Minimum TAFE education in Business or Engineering
