POSITION OVERVIEW:


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roof Truss Steel Detailer to join our team at our head office in Prestons, NSW.

As a Roof Truss Steel Detailer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide support to Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in project planning and coordination.
  • Analyze plans, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Develop initial sketches, detailed drawings, and specifications for roof trusses and related structures.
  • Create, modify, and review plans, maps, charts, and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate project schedules and work activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Estimate costs and project timelines accurately.
  • Gather data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment.
  • Perform basic calculations and plot preliminary data as required.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum Diploma in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the role.
  • Proficiency in using drafting and design software, including AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
