We are currently looking for a PR and Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant Marketing Team. The PR and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for:

PR and Events

  • Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
  • Monitor media coverage, track metrics and develop post campaign reports.
  • Coordinate press trips, famils, media pitches, travel related content and copywriting, and consumer events.
  • Cultivate relationships with travel journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Responsible for keeping Marketing and Events calendars uptodate.
  • Manage 3rd party promotions, partnerships and giveaways.
  • Confidence in writing and proofing across a broad range of mediums.
  • Collaborate with partners and sponsors to maximise event opportunities.

Marketing

  • Coordinate and collate weekly marketing materials for traditional media.
  • Assist in setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns, online activities and proposals.
  • Effective and ontime delivery of marketing projects.
  • Interpret data, analyse and report on the performance of marketing activities.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collating materials and providing summary of findings and/or trends.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and media partners.
  • Provide administrative and general support to the Marketing Manager.

To be considered you need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in media, communications, public relations or a comparable degree, or demonstrated comparable experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience (13 years) in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to execute media and PR strategies and events with creativity.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven attention to detail in preparation of written material.
  • Previous experience in the tourism or entertainment industry will be highly regarded.


As such, you'll have a 'can do' attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a creative and innovative thinker along with possessing great attention to detail and can whip up engaging copy to be featured in print advertising.

You are confident in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications will be highly regarded.
