Our client is seeking a highly experienced Design Lead to head up the workplace design aspects of a large and extremely high end commercial/mixed-use tower in Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the design process from concept to completion
Act as the conduit between the businesses workplace strategy and design deliverables
Coordinate and liaise with internal and external design team members, including architects, engineers, and consultants
Ensure designs are in line with project goals, budget, and schedule
Manage the design review process, including presentations to stakeholders and authorities
Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Act as the primary point of contact for all designrelated matters

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in design management, preferably in commercial fitout (hospitality and retail fit out will also be seen favorably)
Strong leadership and project management skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
