The Opportunity


Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will take full responsibility for the demand, production, and inventory activities for the range of brands allocated.

Your role will be to take full ownership of the planning cycle including continuous improvement, day to day production scheduling and inventory management.


Primary duties will include

  • Monthly demand review, looking at forward 12month projections across all brands/SKUs
  • Develop and conduct regular demand review sessions across all Sales Managers and BDM's
  • Attend regular internal meetings with key stake holders
  • Responsibility for maintaining an accurate forecast across all brands
  • Weekly Order approvals across key stakeholders
  • Maximising stock turns across our key lines and minimizing potential lost sales
  • Monthly Sales and Demand Review

Skills and Experience


To be considered for this position, you will have a solid background within demand or inventory planning, including forecasting and shipping functions, having worked in an operational purchasing, supply chain or inventory coordinating role previously.

Other key prerequisites are as follows.

  • Sound experience in a productbased business (retail or wholesale consumer products preferred)
  • Have previously worked in a team environment with welldeveloped demand planning processes
  • Experience in inventory management and dealing with overseas suppliers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Detailed and action orientated, a forward planner who solves problems before they are problems
  • Experience in the tech sector will be well regarded


While not a prerequisite, it his hoped that you will bring experience with an integrated ERP inventory management system, but what is critical is that you have the drive to succeed and the ability to form strong working relationships.
