A leading professional services firm renowned with a solid history of providing top-tier auditing and accounting services are seeking an experienced External Auditor / Accountant to serve as the Assistant Manager / Supervisor of their Sydney team.


The role:

  • Formulating the audit plan, which involves engaging in discussions with clients, directors, and managers.
  • In charge of optimizing workflow for projects to meet budgetary goals by overseeing the team and offering guidance, training, and support to junior members.
  • Collaborate in creating systems and processes to guarantee that all tasks are executed to the utmost professional standard and in compliance with the established policies and procedures.
  • Discuss assignmentrelated matters with manager/partner and communicate with the client about these issues.
  • Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.

You must have:

  • Proven track record as an External Auditor, demonstrating expertise in auditing financial statements and processes
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or similar and CA / CPA Qualified (or studying)
  • Handson experience with accounting software packages, Caseware experience is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • A professional demeanour in liaising with clients and colleagues
  • Consistently deliver exceptional client service
  • Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
