A leading professional services firm renowned with a solid history of providing top-tier auditing and accounting services are seeking an experienced External Auditor / Accountant to serve as the Assistant Manager / Supervisor of their Sydney team.

The role:

Formulating the audit plan, which involves engaging in discussions with clients, directors, and managers.
In charge of optimizing workflow for projects to meet budgetary goals by overseeing the team and offering guidance, training, and support to junior members.
Collaborate in creating systems and processes to guarantee that all tasks are executed to the utmost professional standard and in compliance with the established policies and procedures.
Discuss assignmentrelated matters with manager/partner and communicate with the client about these issues.
Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.

You must have:

Proven track record as an External Auditor, demonstrating expertise in auditing financial statements and processes
Bachelor's degree in commerce or similar and CA / CPA Qualified (or studying)
Handson experience with accounting software packages, Caseware experience is an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
A professional demeanour in liaising with clients and colleagues
Consistently deliver exceptional client service
Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
