About the role
Reporting to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team Leader, you will be responsible for the provision of complex health and safety advice and support to our stakeholders.
Managing and coordinating projects for the development of programs within our WHS Management System, you will need to draw upon your analytical skills and professional approach.
You will utilise your initiative to solve problems on the run and offer flexible and supportive coaching to your peers and stakeholders.
You will have the opportunity to undertake significant consequence incident investigations, as well as establish incident causes and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Positively influencing and driving forward the agenda for beneficial health and safety change in the workplace;
- Designing and conducting HSW audits and inspections to assess compliance to key requirements of the safety management framework and risk management systems;
- Undertaking analysis, reporting and making recommendations against key Health, Safety and Rehabilitation deliverables.

You have highly developed skills in time management and attention to detail, in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Degree qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or related discipline, or relevant equivalent work experience;
- Related industry knowledge of contemporary issues;
- Minimum five years' experience in a WHS role with broad range of competence in advising an organisation on the common hazards and risks in our industries;
- Demonstrated experience in Work, Health and Safety Systems administration and legislative requirements or minimum five years' experience in a similar industry.
