We're seeking a keen and collaborative senior Content Strategist to understand and clearly articulate the role that meaningful, engaging content plays in designing impactful experiences for people.

Your approach to creating content will be collaborative, consultative, and human-centred, ensuring that content is always inclusive and accessible.


You're able to work across content strategy, content design and content governance/operations and collaborate with digital design teams and clients to deliver content that's aligns to best practices and business goals.


Are you a good fit?:


  • You work closely with UX/Strategic designers to plan and implement contentled research and uncover gaps related to content at the user, business and operations levels.
  • You conduct content audits and performance analysis to identify gaps, areas of improvement, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • You dig deep into search data and analytics from a content perspective and use this information to develop strategic approaches.
  • You utilise quantitative and qualitative research insights to understand and develop strategic intent, content principles, structure, language, content models, user stories, personas, publishing and governance processes and product strategies.
  • You conduct content comprehension and usability testing and gather user feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of content.
  • You can create, research and test intuitive information architectures through card sorting and treejack testing.
  • You can work with UX/IU designers and developers to ensure that content is a core part of the overall design and functionality of digital products.
  • You advise clients about their content governance and workflow models helping them to embed repeatable foundations and setting their teams up for success.
  • You develop content guidelines, style guides, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality across projects, taking compliance, legal or regulatory requirements into account.
  • You can assess and refine content processes and techniques within the design process to improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • You understand the functional and technical constraints of different content management systems and how these impacts and influences the ongoing maintenance and approaches to content.
  • You can work with content and copywriting team members and contractors.
  • You support project teams as they work with content development partners and client content teams (Writers, etc.).
  • You stay uptodate with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to content strategy and design and seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge sharing within the organisation.

Ideally you'll come with:


  • 6+ years' experience in a similar role in a UX/Service Design Consultancy or Digital agency.
  • Ability to to assess current standards and industry benchmark other examples and provide a rationale for decisions.
  • Super organised with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Working knowledge of humancentred design and ability to talk to the approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (and can demonstrate this with examples)
  • Excellent at building strong relationships with clients
  • Exceptional eye for detail understanding the small stuff does matter
  • Collaborative and keen to contribute to studio culture and organisational development.
  • Maturity, confidence, and flexibility to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal staff at all levels.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs, and identify and mitigate problems.
  • Effective at identifying the right people, at the right time, in the right measure, to work on projects
