We're hiring Are you the Contract Maintenance Manager we're looking for?

Maintenance Supervisor

2-4 days a week

Sunshine Coast, Queensland


The qualities you will possess:

• Follows directions from the Operations Manager and work as part of the team, using strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills and representing Treesafe Australia in a friendly, professional and respectful manner.
• Report for duty at the designated location on time each day, promptly.
• Have the ability to solve problems and achieve common goals.

Your main duties & responsibilities will be:

• General maintenance of tools and machinery in a timely and cost-effective manner. Including ordering parts and scheduling works to be done by outside contractors when necessary.
• Maintain all assigned equipment in an efficient, safe, and economical manner.
• Complete database information and other required paperwork/registers/compliance.
• Training for all crew leaders on all machinery and tools in a safe and effective manner keeping these skills up to date when new machinery arrives.

You will have the following qualifications:

• First aid & CPR.
• Construction industry card.
• Woodchipper.
• Skid Steer.
• Excavator.
• EWP Certificates (preferred, but not essential)
• MR licence.
• Drivers licence.

In addition to the above, you will:

• Take on full responsibility for the maintenance and safety of all Treesafe Australia's Machinery and Tools. Either organising the mechanics or doing the works where possible yourself, keeping management well informed.
• Keep the Motor Vehicle Register current.
• Understand and practice/oversee preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Listen to the crew leaders regarding issues with plant & equipment and be able to act promptly to resolve.
• Operate trucks, chippers, cranes, aerial lifts, chainsaws, excavators, skid steers, backpack sprayers and other equipment necessary to perform the works.
• Be an active part of safety meetings and follow through with all compliance requirements.
• Proven work experience with maintenance.
• Understanding of OH&S Principles.
• Database proficiency.

• Chevallum, QLD 4555: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
