The Organisation
Our Client is a leading provider of independent NDIS Support Coordination. Supporting clients from the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Logan, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast regions.


The Role

The role is a permanent, full time position.

Predominantly WORK FROM HOME - with the need to attend the Heathwood office on occasions


As the Manager - Support Coordinators, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of NDIS Support Coordinators.

You will ensure the delivery of high-quality support coordination services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor and supervise a team of Support Coordinators, including overseeing their work, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the delivery of effective and efficient support coordination services that align with the NDIS principles and guidelines.
  • Monitor and review the quality and effectiveness of support coordination services, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement tailored support plans that meet the participant's needs and goals.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with community service providers and organisations, promoting a positive image of the organisation and its services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Work with senior management and Support Coordinators to embed the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Prepare and present reports on the team's performance and outcomes to senior management.

To Be Successful

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, or related field are highly regarded but not essential for applicants with extensive experience
  • Demonstrated experience in disability support services or a related sector, with experience in a managerial / supervisory role.
  • Excellent understanding of the NDIS, including its principles, guidelines, and processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution, negotiation, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams, including with direct reports and with senior management.
  • Commitment to promoting the rights and interests of people with disabilities.
  • Empathetic and patient, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Current valid driver's license and willingness and ability to drive
  • Positive Notice Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check.

Covid Vaccination _is not a mandatory requirement_
for this role, but is desirable.
