Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club are seeking an experienced Head of Partnerships to drive the strategy and execution to both acquire new and retain existing key commercial partnerships for the Penrith Panthers.


The Head of Partnerships is the ultimate professional with excellent business development and relationship management skills, while also being a genuine people person who demonstrates care for their team to ensure their success.

Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying and delivering the Panthers corporate hospitality program at BlueBet Stadium Penrith & Carrington Park, Bathurst


Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conceptualising, developing and presenting partnership opportunities internally and then pitching them externally to current or prospective partners.
  • Exploring innovative business opportunities which could enhance the Panthers Partnerships program
  • Ensure the department achieves set sales targets;
  • Attend all Panthers home games and official sponsorship functions, interacting and communicating with partners;
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports as required to the General Manager
  • Commercial, Chief Executive Officer and Financial Controller.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years' experience in senior Sales and Relationships management positions;
  • Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in commercial or related fields;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office programs, as well as partnerships related CRM software's;
  • Wellpresented and a high standard of personal grooming;
  • Experience in sales, strategy setting, advertising, marketing and brand development;
  • Proven leader with strong financial and commercial acumen, negotiation and problemsolving skills;
  • Experience in leading a team;
  • An understanding of rugby league/sports industry operations and management and;
  • Valid driver's licence.
Additionally, you will have mature social skills, an enthusiastic and confident approach as well as a friendly disposition.

It is also important that you have the initiative to work independently as well as the ability to work within a team.

You will be available to work 7 days, including nights, weekends, Panthers game days and special events.
