Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Resilience Coordinator to join our team.

Located on the lower North Shore, our leafy suburbs have a vibrant and diverse village atmosphere. We aim to provide "best value" services and facilities to the community whilst ensuring a sustainable future.

About the Role
You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and implementation of projects relating to sustainability, well-being and resilience.

The Resilience Coordinator will work to identify and promote sustainable energy and resource management practices while building resilience within Council and our community so that they are better placed to respond to the shocks and stresses associated with climate change.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Development, Strategic Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Climate Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience;
  • C Class Driver's Licence;
  • Demonstrated ability in developing programs, policy, procedures and strategies related to climate change adaptation, resilience or managing resources; and
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of environmental sustainability principles and best practices, legislation and policies.
