MEGT has partnered with Superior Training to conduct a nine week pre-employment training program to prepare women for an apprenticeship in the electrical industry.

This program is open to women who are interested in completing a four-year electrical apprenticeship and gaining a Certificate III qualification.

While the focus is to provide opportunities for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Women, we would be keen to hear from other women who may be interested

Training will be conducted at the Ingleburn training centres.

Schedule - Thursday and Friday of each week from 9am to 5pm commencing in August.

Participants are supplied with:
Long pants, shirt, gloves and shoes to the value of $300
Mini tool kit
Opal card to the value of $300 for travel to attend training

During the program, you will meet prospective employers to discuss the apprenticeships which will start in October or November 2023.
