OUR CLIENT:


Whilst being in operation for over 40 years, our client is a family owned, global company that supports with the entire process of freight movement on a national and international basis.

Our client takes pride in their supportive, flexible and fun work culture and is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their quickly growing team.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


The Logistics Coordinator holds the responsibility to the end-to-end service of freight movement by supporting with imports, exports and providing exceptional customer service by liaising with customers and vendors whilst contributing to the implementation of continuous improvement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • End to end management of import/export
  • Follow all safety guidelines
  • Coordination of deliveries
  • Management and preparation of shipping documentation
  • Tracking of orders
  • Liaising with customers and vendors to ensure that orders are correct and received on time
  • Planning of shipments
  • Maintain and update records of orders, suppliers and customers
  • Conduct SAP entry: Customer Service, Logistics, Inventory Control etc
  • Project management
  • General administration and data entry
  • Customer service
  • Organisation of all national and international freight

  • Sound computer skills, Office 365, Transport Management Systems
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes
  • Exposure and knowledge within Supply Chain

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:


  • A tertiary qualification in a related field
  • Experience within analysis and reporting
  • Continuous improvement programme training and experience
