Purpose

The purpose of the role 'IT Systems Analyst' is to ensure the successful delivery, continuous improvement, and ongoing support of IT solutions.

IT solutions are delivered through project or change processes, and this role facilitates delivery of IT Solutions adhering to best practice guidelines.

Successful solution delivery parameters are not limited to agreed timeline, scope and budget - but also strategic alignment, customer centricity and perception, business partner relationship development and solution related company start-up financial performance post-deployment.

It is expected that this role requires up-to-date knowledge of DHL solutions, best practice templates & processes, and works closely with IT and Operational resources in the delivery, support and ongoing improvement of IT solutions.

Key Tasks

Leadership:

Work within a team of IT Systems Analysts, contributing to a high performing team of emotionally engaged and passionate employees.

Demonstrating an understanding of the DHL Leadership qualities, these must be actively demonstrated at all times with a focus on exceeding agreed objectives, employee motivation and inspiration, employee career and succession planning, employee skill and aptitude development, and contributing to a team culture of customer centricity, execution excellence, business partner focus and continuous improvement

Stakeholder Management:
Establishing, maintaining, and continually improving the health of the relationship between IT and key stakeholders.

Contributing to a team culture where customer centricity, quality outcomes and communication are valued, translating to results that align with or exceed key stakeholder (both internal and external) expectations will be critical to success.

A strong focus on scalable and standardised (where possible) design, with alignment to strategic objectives, and digitalisation and innovation focuses featuring heavily where of benefit to DHL and our customers.

Continuous Improvement & Change Management:
Gain support and buy-in from all required stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Projects and IT Change Requests.

Communicate strategic alignment and initiative purpose, benefits and progress regularly. Clearly document solutions delivered with test evidence, and maintain solution documents in a shared document repositary. Enforce the IT Change Management process in all aspects of change delivery.

Timeline, Resource & Scope Management:
Implement the designed solution to a high quality within the agreed budget & timeframe. Focuses on agreed scope and will manage internal & external client expectations when implementation deviates from signed off solution

Qualifications

2+ years Project Management experience with technical and supply chain specific business knowledge
2+ years' experience in delivering IT solutions to external customers at a management level
2+ years' experience with Supply Chain Systems (WMS/TMS/ERP) configuration & support
2+ years systems integration design, configuration and/or support
Evidence of understanding database design & SQL query writing
Fluent English (written & spoken)
