The role, at a glance:


We are seeking an Information Technology Support II to provide users with desktop, laptop, printer, telephone, and software technical support and assistance.

Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving user technical issues, providing helpdesk functions, and backing up some duties of other IT personnel.

This position is in our Pinkenba, AU / Stafford, AU office locations, but will serve all Biamp personnel and offices.


How you'll contribute:


  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve user difficulties with desktops, laptops, printers, telephone, mobile devices and other hardware or software solutions in a Microsoft environment.
  • Provide firstlevel desktop support for employees (includes all hardware/software needs), responding to requests and problems submitted through a help desk ticketing system. Timely update and resolution of tickets.
  • Build and deploy desktops and laptops according to documented standards and procedures using imaging services and endpoint management tools (Intune, Kandji).
  • Provide positive customer experience with each customer interaction.
  • Manage physical security access to facilities via card management system.
  • Coordinate additional work or services with MSP for technical projects.
  • Work on technical projects as assigned.
  • Perform other miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.
  • 2year college degree or technical certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience providing technical support; or satisfactory equivalent work experience in computer support, systems administration, or related field.
  • Computer systems and network architecture experience.
  • Systems security protocols, policies, and procedures experience.
  • Effective English language literacy; oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and team skills for working with employees at all levels within the company.
  • Working experience of Mac or Linux (Ubuntu) systems is helpful.

Work Environment:


  • Office environment onsite and inoffice attendance is expected at our Pinkenba, AU and Stafford, AU office locations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, move about, hear and speak. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel between offices in AU and occasional travel to the EU and US may be required.
